Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has been ruled out of the game against PSG in the second leg of the quarter finals in the Champions League.
He suffered the ankle injury in the City’s UEFA Champions League clash with Dynamo Kyiev but has since not recovered for action.
Manager, Manuel Pellegrini said “it’s not possible” for the Belgian leader to make a return to first team football for Tuesday’s clash in the competition.
Kompany has had a patchy season full of frustration with injuries and this comes as the latest blow for he and his side.
Eliaquim Mangala and Nicholas Otamendi will deputize for the charismatic skipper as City look to book a ticket to the semi finals of the Champions League for the first time in their history.
