Jose Mourinho, who was sacked by Chelsea last December is on the look out for a new club amid interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid.
However, the Portuguese manager has brought in a new perspective into where his future might lie, insisting he will go where he is wanted.
After falling out with players at Real Madrid and most recently Chelsea, the former Porto tactician believes it’s time he settles for a club that truly wants him and stick with through thick and thin.
“I can almost guarantee you that I’ll be back working this summer,” Mourinho told Portuguese newspaper O Jogo. “I’ve good offers on the table. It’s a matter of thinking, to come to a good decision and finalise it. In the summer, at the end of the season, everyone will know what my next club will be.
“I’ll take my ideas to where they wanted. I want to be at a place where I’m truly wanted. After a few months to recharge my batteries, I’ll be ready to go with everything I have to give.
“I want to work at a club with responsibility, in a hard league, where there’re no easy objectives. That doesn’t leave many options.”
Madrid’s Florentino Perez is believed to be ready to re-hire Mourinho, as Man United are also in talks with his camp to replace Louis Van Gaal.
There were earlier reports that a big money move to manage the Syrian national team could also be on the cards, but his recent words might suggest ‘love’ means more to Mourinho now than money.
