Much like Anthony Martial’s blistering start to life at Manchester United, Newcastle forward Ayoze Perez really hit the ground running when he joined the club in the summer of 2014.
He scored three goals in his first three league games for the club, including a winner against Liverpool which gave the club a much needed fourth straight win to jettison them up the league, after roller-coaster Premier League season.
The 22 year old has gone on to score 8 goals in 46 games for the club and while the goals to games ratio has lengthened, he has drawn the attention of Manchester United and Tottenham with his overall performance level, according to The Newcastle Chronicle. They say:
Man United keeping tabs on Newcastle star Ayoze Perez but Spaniard vows to stay focused
At 22 the forward from Tenerife, who has 2 caps for the Spain U21s, still has a lot to learn but has lovely feet and a real football brain, as well as good groundspeed and resolve for a youngster.
Let’s take a look at the lad in action.
Manchester United fans: would you like Louis to continue spending the kitty on yougsters with potential or should the next signing be for a more seasoned international who can go straight into the first team?
