No Deal: One target who Manchester United won’t be wasting their money on

Good!

We have stated many times that we think Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has done well in the market since he joined the club at the start of last season.

We think that players like Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay can all have successful careers at Manchester United.

Even Angel di Maria could become a big success if he stays.

So far be it for us to question his judgement.

But we just couldn’t see how Manchester United could justify spending 100m Euros on Thomas Muller.

He’s a highly effective player but, for that sort of money, you should be buying one of the top three or four players in the world – someone who can make the jaw drop each week – and, for all his quality, Muller simply isn’t that good.

So we think it’s good news that Bayern have come out and stated that the lad isn’t for sale.

Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said:

“There are some players who just don’t have any price tag,”

“We would be out of our minds to sell Muller.”

Good. At that price you can keep him Karl-Heinz.

Hopefully now Manchester United can train their sights on a true artist of the game like Felipe Anderson, Gareth Bale, Marco Reus or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United fans: are there any of you out there who think that this lad is worth 9 figures?

I think he is worth every cent! I don’t think there is a more efficient forward anywhere in d world he has proven himself @ every level. He has been consistent in his returns for Bayern over the years in terms of goals & assists. Plus he has turned out top scorer performances in 2 consecutive world cup finals. Which of d so called top stars van actually top that?!
