Everything is going beautifully for Real Madrid right now. They won another brilliant Classico by simply out powering their opponents and the team is generally playing better football than ever. The losses of Di Maria and Alonso have done nothing to dampen the overall quality of the team and, in Carlo Ancelotti, they finally have a coach who looks made for the job.

But this is a club that is constantly on the move. Reports in England on Monday suggest that Madrid are keen on highly sought after right back Stephan Lichsteiner.

The 30 year old Swiss wing back could be described as a late bloomer. He’s gone to a better club every time he has transferred and that could continue if Real do make a bid. The speedy right back is currently enjoying a great period at Juventus who he signed for in 2011. Before that he played over 100 games for Lazio after moving from Lille in 2005.

He may be seen as something of a surprise signing due to his age but Real Madrid haven’t been settled in that position this season and Lichsteiner is solid and dependable. He also has an excellent delivery.

Let’s take a look at him in action. Madrid fans: keen or happy with Carvajal et al?
