That’s 4 goals in 7 appearances for Portugal in this calendar year for a player who, lest we forget, isn’t even a specialist centre forward.
In other news, doctors say that the niggling injuries that he has had of late are under control. Dr. Ripoli, a FIFA accredited practitioner is quoted in Marca as saying:
“There’s no reason for concern. Only 10% of these injuries require surgery”,
