Arsenal

Arsenal simply can’t afford to let this Killer slip through their fingers

Arsene-Wenger

Must buy

Arsenal have been close but no cigar in the transfer market over the last few years. Success stories include Mertesacker, Chambers and Sanchez.

But Arsenal haven’t signed a real talisman for too long. They have let RvP go and not replaced him.

Julian Draxler may not be an out and out forward right now but he has the quality that Arsenal lack and need if they want to dominate – that being a killer instinct.

Anyone who has seen him play this season can’t fail to be impressed. He’s got incredible composure for one so young and already looks to be orchestrating things for Schalke.

Draxler has that cutting edge and hugely competitive winners mentality that RvP has in bucket loads. It’s the sort of quality that drags teams through the big games. And although Arsenal have been linked to the lad for over a year, Arsene Wenger needs to show exactly that sort of killer instinct now if he wants to get the deal over the line.

Signing a player of Draxler’s quality can be crucial to Arsenal’s future. The longer they go without signing him the more difficult it will become. Because this guy is growing by the week and he will surely be coveted by more teams as he further matures.

The Mirror reports:

Arsenal have stepped up their interest in long-time target Julian Draxler, Sunday People Sport can exclusively reveal.

The Gunners were watching the Schalke 04 ace in action during their midweek Champions League draw with Maribor.

The same reports states that Arsenal are also keen on young Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

Let’s see both in action.
