Arsenal’s new stellar strikeforce?

Two great arrivals?

It’s still anyone’s guess who Arsenal will sign this summer but most expect a couple of strikers to come in at least.

Whatever else they do they surely need to supplement that end of the park. After all, goals win games. This was perfectly illustrated by Liverpool last season. They didn’t have the strongest of defences back came within a whisker of winning the league with their superb attacking play.

Reports in The Independent suggest that Arsenal have targeted two European stars:

Arsene Wenger believes he can tame Mario Balotelli as rumours of a potential swoop for the AC Milan striker gather pace, according to reports.

Wenger is also believed to be interested in signing Loic Remy from QPR as the Gunners boss looks to bolster his squad ahead of next season.

We think that these two would be superb additions to the squad. We have spent many a day discussing the Remy to Arsenal deal with you. He adds pace and real cutting edge to the front line, either coming off the bench or starting for Arsenal.

Mario Balotelli would add that power and aggression which Arsenal are currently lacking up top.

It’s obviously a bit of a gamble signing a player with the temperament of Mario. He’s had more clubs than Peter Stringfellow.

But he does look to be maturing as a person and could be a fantastic signing for Arsenal if Arsene Wenger can get inside his head and bring the best out of him.

Let’s see Balotelli in action. Arseanl fans: worth the risk?

That useless egotistic manager is signing no one of note! How could he let his ex captain, Cesc, go to Chelsea? That is baffling and strange! Looks like Jose really has a spell over our manager. How dumb and reckless!!! His stubbornness in not buying anyone in January put paid to our title aspirations and he’s about to do it again now just because he won the FA Cup. That man is sick and I cannot stand him!
