Incoming Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has identified Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez as possible summer arrivals at Ettihad.
Guardiola wants to beef up his midfield options ahead of a possible title win next season, and wants Arsene Wenger’s men.
Wilshere has done enough to warrant a call up to Roy Hogson’s squad to the Euro 2016 but has struggled to maintain fitness throughout the season.
Sanchez, 27, has had his future in doubt following the shock of not winning the title in a surprising season that saw Leicester City emerge winners.
He is also reportedly bulking at Arsenal’s offer of £160,000-a-week contract and reports in Spain say he could be persuaded to move to the blue side of Manchester.
Guardiola signed the Chilean international from Udinese in 2012 while he was manager of Barcelona, at a time when City were also chasing after his signature.
