LIVERPOOL target Ivan Perisic says any of his potential suitors should talk to his current club Inter Milan.
The 27-year-old only joined the Italian outfit last summer, arriving for around £12.5m from Wolfsburg.
And while he insists he is happy at the San Siro, Perisic has hinted he is using Inter as a stepping stone in his career.
The Sun reports: “Liverpool are interested, with reports in Italy claiming Jurgen Klopp is preparing a £23.3million bid for the winger.
“Perisic is also understood to be Antonio Conte’s radar as the incoming Chelsea boss prepares for his first season at Stamford Bridge.”
Croatia international Perisic said: “Inter is a big step in my career. They’re a big club and I’ll do my best to perform well here.
“I really like Italy and Inter. When I was a kid I used to watch several leagues and I knew the names of all the greats that have played for this club.
“You never know in football, though, but if someone were interested they’d need to talk to Inter.”
Perisic, who has a five-year contract with Inter, has made 32 Serie A appearances this term, scoring six goals and providing four assists.
Liverpool fans, should Klopp to sign Perisic?
