LVG reveals regret despite Palace win

Manchester United manager, Louis Van Gaal has persisted that the side should have won the game convincingly with a huge margin last night at the Old Trafford.

The Red Devils proved to be too much for the Eagles as they walked pass them in a 2-0 victory. United on the day had 16 shorts on target, in which 10 of that was a threat to the Palace shot-stopper, Julian Speroni.

With this in mind, the Dutchman thought his side should have had their way through with more goals.

“I was very happy with the performance. It was a four or five zero game,” the United boss told MUTV.

“We should have finished it much earlier and should have scored more goals. We created a lot of chances and did not give any chances away.”

The Red Devils of Manchester will face the defeated Toffees of Everton in the semis of the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday.
