Pressure? What pressure?

Claudio Ranieiri insists he feels no pressure as his side continue to defy the odds in their bid to win the English Premier League title this season.

Leicester beat Southampton at the King Power Stadium on Sunday to march closer to an unimaginable victory of lifting the title.

Having come close to winning titles in three different leagues in Europe with Chelsea, Roma, Juventus and Napoli, Ranieiri has seen a host of stars, but admits what he has at Leicester are special.

“I feel different about this team,” said Ranieri when asked to compare Jamie Vardy, Danny Drinkwater and company to his other sides of the past.

“I feel different because these players are full of energy and there is good electricity between everybody — the chairman, the fans, the staff, ourselves”

“We stay united, more united than anywhere else I have been.

“In football it’s important to bring the best of every single player and try to make a team — because football is a game of 11.

“You go on the pitch as 11, but you don’t know how many are linked together. But we are 11 linked every time, plus the bench.”

“The electricity is obvious when you go to the King Power Stadium and see the bond between players and supporters in this incredible season that has made Leicester the talk of world football as they lead the Premier League with just seven matches to play.
