Manchester United: A Letter to Ed Woodward – what exactly is the plan?

Jose-Mourinho

Time for change

Hello again Ed

May I start by saying that it simply beggars belief that Louis van Gaal is still in a job at Manchester United.

If the team was playing well and losing then the current league position, and The Champions League elimination, would be easier to justify.

But, let’s make no bones about it. Manchester United are playing horrendous football AND losing.

With each passing week and each defeat we think, this must be the time that he is sacked. He can’t possibly continue after this.

But, for some reason or other, you refuse to sack the Du

Why?

We can only imagine it’s for one of three reasons.

You think that he is somehow going to turn things around

But LvG has spent a fortune and the team seems to have even lost the desire to win at this point. LvG is way past the point of no return and the longer you keep him in the job the less likely you are to keep yours, in our opinion. If you think you are showing loyalty to LvG you are wrong. You are cruelly hanging the man out to dry and tarnishing his overall reputation.

You have done a deal for Pep

You really need this to be the case. Because if you are simply hoping to get Guardiola at the end of the season then things are even worse than we had imagined at Manchester United. And let’s remember that he as never worked in The Premier League. Like Louis he had an unblemished record until England and, like Louis, he heavily favours possession-based football. There are no guarantees that he will succeed. Even if he does, it’s going to take a while. 5 years without a trophy looms large.

You are in emotional meltdown

It’s understandable if you are, given the current pressures. But there is such an easy way out of this predicament. Simply give the job to Jose.

Forget his perceived attitude. Manchester United would be so lucky to get him right now. He would sort this team out and please let’s not think of him as a defensive coach. He’s not. Manchester United are lacking world-class talent right now and Jose is exactly that.

At this point Ed, Manchester United fans deserve to know what the plan is. That’s all they want to know.

Good luck

He Knew Very Well That He Was Sell Chicharito And Sent Wilson And Januzaj On Loan The Same Mistake He Made When He Joined By Loaning Chicharito And Selling Welbeck
Useless Luis Van Gaal He Cannot Play United Football Use 4-4-2 Formation We Are Not Happy With Man united Board Because Having Faith In The Coach Who Does Not Understand The Talent Of Players
Januzaj Was Good Under David Moyes But Van Gaal Is Killing The Talent Letting Chicharito Was Also His Mistake
