Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has held also with Mino Raiola, the ‘super’ agent who looks after Mario Balotelli, to discuss the future of the mercurial striker, according to reports in Italy.
The visionary German is said to be keen to take Balotelli back as Tuttomercato reports:
Indeed, from this sinking boat could escape even Mario Balotelli would return willingly to Liverpool now that there Klopp on the bench . Mino Raiola has had contacts with the German coach who values highly the former cosmodrome and a return to basic English would be a viable solution soon.
This follows recent quotes from Raiola himself who was asked if he was planning to have contact with the Liverpool manager over Balotelli:
“For sure. That is part of my job, to speak to all the managers,”
“I know Klopp from (representing) Mkhitaryan at Dortmund.”
This news may come as something of a disappointment to some Liverpool fans who really didn’t rate the Italian.
Balotelli has ben injured for much of this season has only managed 4 games and one goal for AC Milan since joining them in loan in August.
We stuck our neck out when he arrived at Liverpool and said that he could turn out to be a good signing for the club.
But he only managed 4 goals in 28 appearances and was regularly scolded by the fans for his perceived nonchalance.
But he is a powerful number 9 and perhaps Klopp can work his magic on a not so ‘Super’ Mario of late.
