Manchester United target quicker than Usain Bolt over 30 metres?

Pace to burn

If Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is still keen on speedy forwards then perhaps he should look no further than the flying Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 26 year old, who has been linked of late with a move to United, is known for his speed and a video on YouTube is even purporting that he is quicker than the world’s fastest sprinter, Usain Bolt, over 30 metres.

Aubameyang does appear to have a great skill set for Manchester United’s current needs.

He can speed up their moribund attack with his raw pace. He can play on either wing or through the middle. He has become a wonderful finisher with 27 goals already this season, in anything but a ‘mickey mouse’ league.

And the money on offer in The Premier League could well tempt him to move to Manchester United the month.

Th idea of him being quicker than Bolt is a little hard to digest – and the video seems to be using statistics for Bolt from a standing start, whereas Aubameyang’s stats seemingly have the benefit of him hitting the ground running.

Nevertheless there is no debate that this guy is going to be one of the faster players in the English top flight if he does come to Manchester United, Arsenal or another BPL giant.

Let’s have a look at that video and you can make your own mind up about the verity of the claim.
