Big Man Back? A Potential Barcelona XI vs Roma

Game of the round?

Most clubs would be deep into the following week before they even considered putting an end to their celebrations after an absolute cuffing of their biggest rivals on their own patch.

But such is the will to win and hunger for silverware at Barcelona that we fully expect another focused performance from them against Roma on Tuesday evening.

The image of Lionel Messi returning to the pitch after 8 weeks out when Real Madrid were 4-0 down was a worrying one for Los Blancos.

The Catalans can only get stronger with the best player ever back in the side and, although Roma have been in good form in domestic competition this season, Barcelona will probably put them to the sword.

But Roma will be tough to break down and offer their own attacking threat. So it should be one of, if not the, game of the week in Europe.

Here is our strongest XI for a game which we expect Barca to ultimately win by a couple of goals.

Mascherano is the only notable absentee after he came off early in El Clasico.
