Having got Arsenal and Manchester City out of the way recently, Manchester United go into a run of eminently winnable fixtures with a largely healthy squad.
While other teams are starting to pick up injuries, perhaps Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will get some luck this time around.

Looking at the team sheets Manchester United are clearly taking this competition seriously and will see any silverware as good silverware after a couple of years in the relative abyss.
