Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood always seems to talk a good game and appears uber-confident in his own ability.
But we have always questioned how much substance there is behind the impressive sound bites and one point in the last 8 Premier League games simply isn’t good enough.
If Aston Villa are to start building some momentum they surely must be looking for three points against a Swansea side which is nowhere near its best right now.
Gary Monk has problems too as the 36 year old tries to stop the rot after 3 defeats and 2 draws in the last 5 games for Swansea.
Whatever the quality produced, Aston Villa and Swansea won’t be short of energy and this should make for a good game with increasingly end to end football.
We suspect that if Aston Villa can get their noses in front they could hold out for a much needed three points.
But Swansea certainly won’t lie down after an unusually rough ride in The Premier League in recent weeks.
It should be a belter.
