Liverpool linked with Balletic Bulldozer signing – report

Raw Power

This one makes a whole lot of sense. Liverpool’s entire team has been struggling this season but the forward line has been particularly meek at times.

With Daniel Sturridge injured for most of the season the top and has regularly looked toothless. Mario Balotelli hasn’t yet settled (will he ever?) and Lambert, for all his heart and application, seems to lack the pace for this level.

The ball must look for another top striker and they will need to find a bargain from somewhere. We think this could be the ideal solution as tabloid reports this weekend suggest:

Brendan Rodgers has set his sights on Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke as the man to lead Liverpool’s line, according to the Sun on Sunday.

With Liverpool perhaps struggling to compete with the very top teams in Europe to bring in the biggest stars, this transfer could work out to be a masterpiece by Brendan Rodgers.

Benteke certainly isn’t in the blistering form which we saw before his serious injury. But they do say class is permanent and we think this guy is top class.

If he can get back to the boil at Liverpool then it will be seen as one of the cleverest transfers in recent times. Because the Belgian is capable of scoring 30 goals a season and leading the line brilliantly on his own. With the service of players like Lallana and Sterling around him he could be an absolute sensation at Liverpool.

Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Liverpool fans would this be an ideal solution for the forward line?
