Amazing

The last few days have seen a new swirl of speculation which suggests that Manchester United want to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid.

The Express has gone one further by reporting that Bale has already accepted a move to Manchester United next summer:

..according to sources on the continent, Bale has now accepted a move to United in the summer.

So what’s the real story? Is there any truth behind the tale?

What we do know is that Manchester United were prepared to break their transfer record for the player last summer. In fact they reportedly outbid Real Madrid but the Welshman fancied a move abroad.

If the finances are in place then it’s easy to imagine that Manchester United would be interested in the best British player who is still only 25. This guy could become a legend at Old Trafford.

As for the player, well we think that he would like to stay at Real Madrid for another season at least. He has been good but not great since he moved to Spain and he will feel that he still has something to prove to himself and his club.

But, if there is any substance in the persistent rumours linking Marco Reus with Real Madrid then one of Bale, Rodriguez or Benzema would have to make way to accommodate the brilliant German. So it may be a case of Bale getting pushed next summer.

Let’s take a look at the flying Welshman in action. Manchester United fans: a perfect recruit?
