Last season we saw some really jaw-dropping pieces of skill from one star who was enjoying his breakthrough season at Manchester United. From the moment that he stole the show with two goals against Sunderland we knew that Adnan Januzaj was a bit special.
In a desperate search for creativity and penetration David Moyes threw Januzaj into the first team and he eventually went on to make 35 appearances for the club in the campaign.
It was a rare bright spot in a poor season but Januzaj hasn’t kicked on this term. He was given three games in a row in November but failed to convince and now there is talk of him getting more experience with his old boss in Spain:

There is no doubt that the lad needs game time. We still think that it should be in England but, with so many players coming back from injury, even Manchester United’s bench looks really strong right now.
If Januzaj was really quick then he would perhaps find more gametime as a wide man. But he really does look more like a number ten. With Rooney and Mata occupying that position Adnan may fancy gaining experience in Spain.
The obvious concern would be that being in the spotlight in Spain could lead teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid to his door. But Januzaj signed a new long term contract last season so the ball is very much in Manchester United’s court right now.
