Question marks remain over the future of Gerard Pique, who has been overlooked at times this season, and new signings are taking time to bed in.
We think that if Barcelona can get Thomas Vermaelen fit then the selection decision would become much clearer.
Because at 29 there is a chance that his best football is still ahead of him.
The good news is that, for the first time in three months the defender has taken part in full training with the squad.

Barcelona have returned to training with the addition of Thomas Vermaelen who, after three months on the sidelines with a muscular injury, trained at the same pace as his team mates.
Niggling injuries have blighted his career but he’s an excellent player when fit – a strong defender with great technique and an eye for goal.
The signing was something of a gamble, considering his injury history, but Vermaelen’s style suits Barcelona and we hope that this is the start of something special.

The addition of Vermalen is welcoming to the struggling defensive season of fc Barcelona. when fit he’s electric, flexible and strong. that’s what we need but pique and mattheu are opposite to this demand

The team has strugled defensively for de past three seasons and i thought they would make some quality defensive signings beginning of de season,but to no avail.Barca should be serious when making recruitment especially defense bcos dat Is our weak part but all de Same i tink Thomas vemalen inclusion to de first team Can boost de team.

Barcelona deffensive problem started way back from the day she was founded, yet there is no solution. We pray that if Juan wins the presidential election, he should bring Tiago silva from PSG and Company from M. City over instead of this Ronaldo issure.
