Swansea are in a state of flux at the moment with regards players and management. But what is for sure is that they continually need to strengthen if they want to consolidate their position in The Premier League.
Swansea had a stellar first campaign in the top flight but dropped off last season and at times looked as if they could get sucked into the relegation dog fight.
But Garry Monk saw them through and deserves a chance to take this team on again next season. The three year deal is more than merited.
One player who has been linked to Swansea this week could be an absolute sensation.
Ravel Morrison is currently back at West Ham after season on loan QPR. He never seems to quite settle at any club and there have been questions about his temperament after a scrape with the law as a youngster.
But few doubt the talent of the player and if he had got his head down and been consistent enough he could even have been on the plane to The World Cup this summer – such is the natural ability of the man.
If Swansea signed him they would need a manager who could take the reins and bring the best out of the sometimes enigmatic star.
But he offers the sort of creativity that every single Premier League team could use. Morrison has beautiful feet, balance and wonderful football intelligence – plus an eye for the sensational goal.
If he could be pointed in the right direction his career could flourish at Swansea.
Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Swansea fans: worth the hassle?
