Manchester United: 10 Players in United CLEAROUT?

Nani: Frighteningly good but not very often

10 in summer clear out?

Ashley Young – Hasn’t done the business at Manchester United. Doesn’t have the technique, daring or guile to be a top winger at the club, in our view. Many feel that he needs a fresh start.

Nani – Another who definitely needs a change of scenery. Much more talent than the aforementioned but seems unable to control his genius.

Rio Ferdinand – Personally we think he should stay. He has so much to teach the next generation and is still the best ball-playing centre back in Britain. Just needs a mobile player around him.

Patrice Evra – Another great servant who was hard to better in his pomp. Holes have appeared in the defensive side of his game but we think that the ideal situation for Manchester United would be to keep him on for another year and sign Luke Shaw.

Nemanja Vidic – Has been a monster for Manchester United but he has confirmed he’s off in May.

Fabio – It looks as if his deal to Cardiff is permanent. Another bad decision to let him go?

Darren Fletcher – It’s remarkable that he is still playing the game at the top level considering the illness that he has had to overcome. He has done a decent job since coming back into the Manchester United team. But his opportunities could be further limited after the expected investment in the engine room this summer.

Anderson – this is officially only a loan deal to Fiorentina at the moment. But it looks like it will become a permanent move.

Chicharito – Murmurs of discontent surround this fan favourite. He is a brilliant squad player but perhaps not happy with that role. We think that he lacks the physique and ball control to be a first choice striker for Manchester United.

Tom Cleverley – He gave a decent performance against Arsenal but many Manchester United fans still don’t rate him. The fact that he’s English could give him a stay of execution in the squad.
