It’s pure speculation but we love a bit of that don’t we? Everton have been linked with more wingers than most other Premier League teams of late. Victor Moses, Aiden McGeady, Adam Johnson and other players have been thrown into the hat since Roberto Martinez took the reigns at Everton.
As yet there haven’t been too many high profile wing back or winger additions, but there remains a feeling that the Everton boss is on the look out for quality in the wide areas, to get even more out of the rampaging Romelu.
What chance then a loan spell for Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling at Everton? Would the Everton fans countenance such a thing? Some media outlets are today suggesting that Sterling will be sent out on loan in January after a protracted period of average form.
Sterling seemed to have the world at his feet when he first burst onto the scene at Liverpool. But he hasn’t seen too many opportunities in a rejuvenated side over the first few months of the season.
There is obviously massive potential in the lad but he requires more finesse in order to get a regular game for a top side. On that basis he might also find it hard to get into an excellent Everton team and some fans would be loathe to develop a Liverpool player at the club.
So it’s not the most likely loan transfer. Nevertheless, he does seem like the sort of player that could bring something to the Everton squad. He has pace to burn, is a great athlete and can beat his man from a standing start. There are still portents that he will turn out to be a top player.
Let’s have a look at Sterling in a action. Everton fans, would you take Raheeem for 6 months?

Absolutely not. Even from an unbias point of view I dont think hes up to much. How he got an England call up is as much a mystery to Liverpool fans as anyone else. Who would he get into the Everton team over?
