Barcelona

What a great pair of tips!

For anyone who hadn’t noticed, there are a couple of absolute bobby dazzlers occuring in Europe over the next couple of days.

Tonight Real Madrid start an epic 7 day program which comprises Barcelona twice and Manchester United next Tuesday. Manchester United fans will watch on with interest as Madrid travel to the Camp Nou tonight for the second leg of their Copa Del Rey tie with their Catalan rivals.

The tie is finely balanced after a 1-1 draw in the first leg at The Santiago Bernabeu and, with Barcelona miles clear in La Liga, this competition represents one of Real’s last chances for silverware this season.

They will go all out for the win but will also have one eye on the big one – the return leg against Manchester United in the Champions League. I think that this could be a high scoring draw, which will see Real go through.

The second battle of the domestic titans is in Germany, where Bayern host Borussia Dortmund in the German cup in almost identical circumstances. The home side, Bayern, are clear in the title race and so champions Dortmund will want to at least take the cup if they are going to relinquish their league crown.

We would also call this one as a draw. Which makes this a really nice double to have a punt on. soccersweep is to have a few squid with William Hill at 14/1 on two draws. So sit back over the next couple of days and enjoy one heck of one lot of good football including all four of the the main contenders to Manchester United in the Champions League this season.

Marvellous
