The best news of the season for Manchester United

Manchester United are having a great season as we all know. But possibly the best news of the season so far is that Robin van Persie will be fit to face Real Madrid at Old Trafford next week. Soccersweep was at the game Saturday and, even though The Dutchman stayed on the park for a while after the injury, it did look worrying. RvP hit the camera pit hard and lay still for a couple of minutes as Manchester United players celebrated Rafael’s belter of an opener.

It looked like one of those season defining moments, just like when Nemanja Vidic got that terrible injury away at Basle in The Champions League last season.

But The Metro today reports that RvP will be fit for Manchester United by the time of the 2nd leg on Tuesday 5th March.

This comes a couple days after Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson suggested that the injury should clear up in time for The Red Devils’ biggest game of the season.

“We will assess him tomorrow. Hopefully he’ll be all right for the Real Madrid game. He tried to play on but it was obvious he wasn’t going to make it.”

We await official word from Manchester United but it appears at this stage that RvP will take his place alongside Wayne Rooney in one of the most feared strike forces in Europe. They will certainly need both if they are to win the tie next week and progress to the quarter finals of The Champions League.

I believe MU will be winner. If someone ask me, who is going to score. My answer will be Rooney & RVP by incredible goal. If there is any one who don’t believe this , let him/her wait a game.
