Its a wonder how a club like Liverpool havnt folded, with the amount of cash they spend and for what?, a Carling Cup win and inconsistant football. Since 2005 when they won the Champions League, alot of cash has been pumped in, granted they pushed Man United for the title one year, but it still wasnt enough for what they spent.

Hopefully Coutinho will be a good attacking midfielder.

Anyone else REALLY disappointed we didnt get butland?
With questions over reina’s long-term future, jones’s david james esq calamity streak, doni now gone & the young ‘uns not yet ready for 1st team action – you really do have to wonder what on earth is going on? Is reina going to commit long-term & we just havent been made aware? Butland fitted the owners’ buying profile perfectly, a very talented young BRITISH player with HUGE potential & re-sale value yet seemingly we make no attempt whatsoever to sign englands next great between the sticks for UNDER £4m!!!!!!! Thats 9 butlands to 1 andy carroll – speaking of which, would it not have been a sound move to bring him back & give him 1 last chance to prove himself here? At least its another option & a plan b should we need one, or even just a target man to bully defences & knock balls down for sturridge & suarez to run on to!
At least we can look forward to a good few signings in the summer now, the young lad from lazio (def) has made it clear we’re his no1 choice & ince will return – both on free’s.
If we miss out on CL qualification this year & suarez does go, with the players we have left, those 2coming in & the big bucks from his sale – we will definately build a very attractive squad with BR in charge! Keep the faith people – good things are coming!!

i’m not too sure the “re-sale value” which the owners likes to preach can be a good thing for LFC.we bought Henderson,Borini,Allen,Carroll and the likes for so called future “re-sale values” and yet ain’t too sure we are going to get MORE than what we simply overpaid for them!Who’s going to pay 20mil pounds for Henderson now?Hands up please….Also,if the owners truly wishes to win the championship next season and if Reina does move,we need another top-class replacement for a top-class player and i suggest we buy Joe Hart.Yup!

FSG transfer policy will buy Butland in the summer for triple the price. TBH he wanted first team play. coming to Liverpool will see him on the bench.

Coutinho is just another talent and potential. He is young and neither earn nor proved at the highest level which of course what LFC surely wants to return to,being the best again.Let’s see what impact Coutinho will give to the side from now till the season ends.

I fear we’ve bought a couple of children rather than players. Coutinho looks like a Brazilian Pacheco, and Sturridge is inevitably going to have a tantrum about something.

Check the facts Morgan is still on loan at Rotherham he is on a youth loan which means he can go back to Liverpool and play youth games and then go back to Rotherham and play in their games!

We at http://www.talkoftheterrace.net think you did well to avoid Butland, he is still very much a prospect, i know alot of Blues fans and all are mixed on him, one game looks a class act, and the next he looks like David James..
