Man U

2 Possible Deadline Day transfers for Manchester United – reports

The transfer speculation will be absolutely crazy between now and midnight Thursday but, when you strip away all the madness, there are only two possible transfers that Manchester United could conclude in the next day or so.

Although soccersweep feels that Manchester United need a left winger, to add to their otherwise extremely strong squad, it appears that Fergie would look to bolster in the centre of the park and between the sticks, if the right men came along.

The right man in the midfield would appear to be Celtic megalith Victor Wanyama. Speculation has consistently pointed toward a move to Old Trafford for the Kenyan and ESPN yesterday reported that a last ditch bid of £8m would be tabled. He’s an excellent prospect at just 21 and was personally scouted by Sir Alex last week . We wouldn’t be surprised if a late deal is done for the player, but Manchester United would likely have to stump up a lot more than £8m.

soccersweep is a big fan of David De Gea but it’s obvious he needs to improve his presence in the area and deal with crosses much better. Depending on which pundit you listen to, this foible could scupper Manchester United’s trophy prospects in the latter stages of the season.

Asmir Begovic has long been linked to Manchester United and would apparently love a move to Manchester United. However I also seem to remember him hankering for a move to Chelsea not too long ago.  Birmingham City stopper Jack Butland would be the only other obvious altenrative if Manchester United did want to invest during this window, but he is drawing serious attention from Chelsea.

We shall keep you updated as the drama unfurls.

Begovic is not happening, as end of season de gea off to barca, Valdez to bayern and bayern s keeper off to united…….he was fergies first choice but didn’t want to leave bayern at that time, but Valdes is keen on reuniting with guardiola. Also been told bayern are sniffing around both ronaldo and ozil to replace robben and ribery, who are both apparently off to psg.
Wanyama would be a great addition tools Trafford, as even though carrick is having one of his best seasons he only has 2 more seasons in him, then prob bit part backup, but with a distinct lack of solid ball winners available Wanyama is worth taking a gamble on.

Let’s be honest SAF is not gonna buy Wanyama….YET. he is not eligible to play champions league, so he’s not going to leave Celtic at least until the end of the season. Also Utd don’t hardly buy in January. So doesn’t matter how many fans on here BEGGING for Wanyama , we won’t get him in January so don’t get your hopes up and remember fergie doesn’t read these comments so stoP saying plssss fergie. GLORY GLORY MAN UTD and let’s keep de gea we will Regret if we sell him

Apart from his oh-so-predictable/boring/meaningless rumblings at the press conf after the S’ton game, we the millions of Utd fans hope SAF was wide awake to see ( again ) that Utd’s midfield is rubbish. Of course De Gea is worth a quarter of the money he actually cost but he was so cruelly exposed by a pedestrian midfield and a crazy formation last night! Why, oh why, SAF, you didn’t buy Fellaini in Aug or even in January??? You have a bunch of carrots like Nani to sell ! Sorry folks, if Utd fails to win this term again, it’d be SAF’s responsibility. Period.
