We can confirm that the Official Manchester United website has just announced that the club has just reached agreement with Arsenal over the transfer of Robin Van Persie.
Manchester United say that the player still needs to undergo a medical. But this will be seen as one of the transfer coups of the year.
Manchester United will release more details about the deal tomorrow, after the medical has been completed
