Liverpool: German International tracked

Everyone fan loves their club to be linked with exciting attacking players who can smash up a defence like a top New York lawyer. But a top defender can be just as important to your team, as we all know.

Liverpool have looked decent at the back in the last few years but there is always room for improvement and the last couple of days have seen various stories about Liverpool’s alleged interest in Germany defender Benedikt Howedes. Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger have formed a fairly impressive partnership at the back but Liverpool lack real strength in depth there and could use another big character in the defence as Jamie Carragher trundles through his autumn years.

At 24 he hasn’t cemented his place in the Germany team as yet but if professional projections are to be believed then it is only a matter of time before the 6ft 2in stopper becomes a regular starter for his country. He’s captain of Schalke, he can play on the right or at centre back and he fancies himself as a goal scorer, as the video suggests. For my money, he looks like he is going to be another top class German export.

Solid player, but won’t leave Schalke for Europa League football.

I hope liverpool fc will do the best to bring Benedikt Howedes join liverpool fc next season.I think Benedikt Howedes,Gaston Ramirez,Joe Allen,Ramsus Elm,Fernando Llorente and Luuk De Jong will be enough to firing the goal for next season.
