Manchester City going for Tottenham’s Bale now? It’s just not fair

Some tabloids today talk of Tottenham swashbuckler Gareth Bale signing for Manchester City in the summer. Give everyone else a chance for god’s sake. This is getting a bit unfair now. Bale down the left on top of all the players they already have in the midfield like Silva, Nasri and Toure? Do me a favour.

And it’s not just English teams who should be very afraid. On this trajectory the top European sides will also be licking their wounds before long. I don’t know what the Arabic for FIFA Financial Fairplay Regulations is but I’m pretty sure someone needs to explain it to the owners of Manchester City football club quite urgently.

soccersweep mentions this on a pretty regular basis but Manchester City fans must be absolutely wetting themselves on a daily basis at how they have completely flipped the nuts with their new owners. Even if it does all eventually go south, they will always have the memory of a side that was so utterly jammed full with unbelievably good players – just a few years after having Paul Dickov as their star man.

The possible addition of Robin Van Persie in the summer could leave Premier League opposition lining up against easily the most talented side in Premier League history –  jammy, jammy so and so’s….
