Tottenham

Seriously mate, we don’t want you at Tottenham

Noone wants you

It’s a marvelously naff story. Some ridiculous rumour about Lukas Podolski interesting Tottenham was floated at the weekend.

It wasn’t from the best possible source but The BBC saw fit to publish it in their gossip column. In turn the player in question seemingly decided to demonstrate his loyalty to Arsenal by using Twitter to say:

pod2

Podolski talks as if he’s having a great time at Tottenham’s arch rivals.

The truth is, he’s not getting a game for The Gunners and Tottenham wouldn’t want him either – particularly for the mooted £10m.

It’s a massively miscalculated move on the part of the German international who will probably return to his homeland, tail between legs, with the first decent offer that finds its way to Mr. Wenger’s desk.

Our guess is, if that offer is anywhere near that figure, Wenger will fall off his seat, then check his calendar to make sure it’s not April 1st, then quickly peruse the internet to see if there are any attacking midfielders available for £10m, before calling up the buying party to bite their hands off with all the relish of a famished cannibal.

Podolski would be extremely lucky to play for a club like Tottenham – we doubt his next club will be anywhere near as good – and he should perhaps be a little more graceful with his proclamations.

Tottenham fans: Would this guy be a useful addition or an overpaid nuisance?

I don’t know what the writer said in the past, but admit I read the article because I thought it should have been about Adebayor. Ade is inconsistent and no longer capable of producing as a lead striker.

Why would we even think about that useless excuse of a striker. Soldado over him all day and why bring him in when kane is also better. Shit come ade is better. What is his attributes that could improve poch system. Come on lazy journalist. Now that must be every striker and his mum that has been linked with us. We are shabby upfront in the goals for department but wow poldolski. Bless him though getting all protective towards a club that dont rate him either. Tosser. Coys!

Ade is way better then Podolski even with his inconsistency Arsenal could have done with his quality over the years. Podolski is average he is one of those players like Szczęsny who make these fake comments like he’s a fan on twitter to get the fans on his side. keep the fans cool ,he’s keeping his 70k a week or whatever cool.If Arsenal never signed him and Spurs did he’d be saying that about them. He’s see through a corny!

What in God’s name could we possibly want with a 29yr old has-been who can’t make first team ‘coz he’s being kept out by a wanker called Danny Wellbeck & a cunt with the female name Alexis?

Spurs already have someone official that sends Tweets all day. What we need is a striker.
