Tottenham want Jaw Dropping Talent – report

Magician alert!

Watching the match on Sunday it was hard to see how Tottenham would get back into the game at 0-2. They were spluttering along without any real purpose.

Southampton, by contrast, were doing their best impression of Brazil, slicing Tottenham open time and again – scoring beauties. It was just like watching Tottenham at their best!

But, this season, Tottenham have been very unlike themselves. They’re usually nice to watch but struggle for consistency. In the league it’s been quite the opposite case for them, however, as they have ground out largely positive results without wowing the crowd too often. But it’s a decent quality to have and they remain in the hunt for a Champions League spot.

But they need some players who can dazzle once more. And how about this guy? The Mirror reckons that Tottenham are in for Manchester City target Sadio Mane:

Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood wants 21-year-old Senegal sensation Sadio Mane to be one of his first big-money buys.

Sherwood has twice sent new chief scout Ian Broomfield to watch Red Bull Salzburg’s £10million-rated left-winger in action.

The 21 year old has only played 45 league games since joining Salzburg in 2012. But he has scored a remarkable 25 goals in that time and he’s not even and orthodox striker. Much more of a left wing wizard this guy cuts in and unleashes at every opportunity. He has that intrepid quality that so often accompanies youth and he currently looks like he could skin any full back in the world.

He’s also played 15 times for a strong Senegal national side scoring 4 times.

We think that, if he can be coached to maturity, Tottenham could be getting an abolsute sensation in the making. He may even begin to fill that huge hole left by Gareth Bale.

Let’s take a look at the lad in action.
