PICTURE: The Immediate Solution for Manchester United

Changes need to be made right now

The owners of Manchester United are living in a dream land if they think that this current situation is going o get any better under David Moyes. It’s like going to bed in a hut and expecting to awake in a palace. It just doesn’t happen.

Moyes is not the right man for the job. It is plain as day to see. So why bother keeping him on for another day? Why wait for the humiliation of European elimination and a cuffing at the hands of Manchester City?

The Glazers have made their money from making ruthless decisions when necessary. Now they must make another. Get rid of Moyes and, in so doing, at least give Manchester United a chance to win through to the next round of The Champions League. Manchester United may not go all the way in Europe but at least a 3 goal win on Wednesday would keep the season alive a little longer.

If Sir Alex Ferguson took the reigns for the game Manchester United still may not win through against Olympiacos. But you can at least expect a performance from the team. A lot more effort going in and some pride restored in the shirt. Because David Moyes simply isn’t getting anything out of these players.

If we were running things right now we would immediately accompany Moyes off the premises and then give Fergie a call. Get Gary Neville in to deal with the team on a day to day basis with Fergie in a more detached position as mentor and strategist in chief.

We guarantee that Manchester United would immediately play better if these actions were taken.

David Moyes will be sacked. He won’t turn things around no matter how much time or money you give him. So why wait for the inevitable?
