Man U

PICTURE: Is this Manchester United’s next manager?

Manchester United look rudderless right now. As you know we don’t like to sit on the fence where possible. The players have put in some poor performances but ultimately the responsibility lies with the manager. He hasn’t done the business at Manchester United and he looks increasingly out of his depth as the weeks go on.

We blame the manager. Sir Alex Ferguson won the title with this lot last season. The new boss has spent £65 million and the team looks awful.

So it’s definitely time to start talking about an exit strategy for Manchester United – a manager to come in if a decision is taken to get rid of David Moyes.

The obvious choice is Jurgen Klopp. If David Moyes’s managerial style feels very old school, Klopp is the epitome of th modern coach. Watching Dortmund play Zenit on Tuesday was a feast of fast, coherent and flowing football. Football where the players knew what was expected of them and didm;t get in each other’s way.

Klopp has the personality for the job. Watching how he has developed his current team you have to say that he also clearly has the tactical nous to be at the top table of European football.

In general, Klopp is a man who clearly has strong vision of how he wants to play football. The great thing for him is that it fits perfectly with the modern football environment. Having seen David Moyes’s tactics and formations we feel that he is a very limited coach who doesn’t embrace the obvious.

Unfortunately, there is little to no chance that he will make the move this season. He will want to enjoy the fruits of his labour in Europe and The Champions League before he even considers another project.

So, if we were in charge, we would bring Fergie back before the next game and ask Gary Neville to get involved in the day to day management and running of the team. Then Klopp can take charge in June and we can begin to put this horrid season behind us and start slagging England off instead!

You feel? And when did YOU become an expert on tactics? Forgive me if your credentials as a football expert have been posted and I simply missed it. Kind of Rich when an arm chair critic feels confident enough to make such bold statements. I always find it fascinating when a person who has never played a game at a high level, has never coached it at a high level, has never managed at a high level, can be so bold as to suggest that they have a f’in clue what it takes to operate at this level. You just don’t know, so leave it to those that do. And NO, you don’t have the right to criticize. You must earn that right!

Before all, i am 100% sure that man utd chiefs, directors and staffs don’t accept the fans voices. But according to me, klopp can be first choice manager of man utd. It is better if Ferguson be a manager again, but it is impossible dream so Klopp is my first choice.

Moyes does not deserve to Manage Man u or any Big club, At Everton He spend some years there without Wining anything, Now He left de Everton, Everton are now doing better. He came to Man utd with his so Flops Everton staffs and Now Man utd have became Everton of de past. Moyes ‘s Tactice/ formation is not de formation Man utd use to play and He have no Mouth to Players, He don’t de Exprience of Reading a game, to know which player to subs. During de time of Ferguson, He does not look for face, If U are not playing well, He will bench U no-mata who u are. But for Moyes, He always uses Big name Players, whether they are inform or not, His selections were awful. Infact Am tired of Moyes, It will be Good to Replace Moyes with a well Exprience coach.

Blame FERGIE because he made the choice of appointing moyes along with bobby charlton. We literally could have had any coach in the world, no really. , we could have chosen ANY1 , because any manager capable of greatness would never turn down the challenge to prove himself . For years the entire footballing world would speak about who would replace FERGIE . Mourinho wanted the job so badly his agent revealed ” he was crying over the phone ” when moyes was appointed , this was in a tell all book . FERGIE could have chosen any1 in the world , and he chose moyes. (Probably coz he’s a Scott ). Charlton said mourinho would not manage united because “he’s a good manager but does not align to the values of the club “. Charlton , we love u , but ur 90, times have changed , adapt or die , that’s the rule . Even so , Jurgen Klopp should have been the first and only name for SAF’s replacement . He’s a tactical genius , forget not only winning the bundusliga with Dortmund , HE DEFENDED IT the next season along with assassinating Bayern in the German cup. He brought mainz from the second divison and in his first season finished top half . Yes , dortmund are well off Bayern this season , but that’s what happens when ur direct rival literally takes not one but any of your best players as they see fit , a manager of Klopps stature should not have to endure this . Even an idiot would know what great potential as well as proven ability klopp posses , just by watching dortmund play. On what basis did we choose moyes ? He’d stay ? Sure. He did well with no money so maybe hel do well with it ? Sure . But I’m sorry , part of MUFC club values is WINNING , and moyes , has won nothing. , zero. 11 years in management , not even a capital one cup . His style is too defensive , his approach too conservative . Had he stayed at Everton, they would have kept falling short , because only high risk yields high rewards . Martinez is proving that right now , he goes to Stamford bridge and plays to win. Even if moyes stays and we win , we will not enjoy his style of play . I want to see united attack like city , even mourinho can’t make them do that coz he’s more tactical than free flowing. Klopp was the ideal replacement , only blind men would not have noticed . Yet we chose a man who’s only accolade is he stayed at a club for a decade . In that case , when warren buffet retires as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway , the longest standing employee should replace him , even if it’s the janitor , right ?

Moyes sorry but you had the chance to go and get players last summer! Well done for mata class act, BUT everyone knew that united need quality midfielders but went for barca players that laugh at moyes, we need a big name manager for a big club, kloop, great coach not sure about mentality and like me into heavy metal!! Id even say giggs or gary nev to start with! Gary would shoot rockets up players to get them to win ! Anyway your all borin me now

I agree fergie has not replaced players like ferdinand vidic evra giggs scholes gary neville and ronaldo with class players he replaced with duds like valencia young cleverly rafael smalling and so and so in last 4 years when you keep buying average players over period of time you become an average team final decision to give moyes the job was icing on cake . Its not moyes fault poor bloke the job is far too big for him he has 65 mil and both players are not what we needed right back central defender and at least one central midfielder was first priority .my worry if moyes stays till next season snd end up spending 100 mil or so on wrong players we might do a liverpool and b too far behind other teams to catch up for next 10 years or so

When Moyes puts his team out on match days he has made named the same system on every match this season 4 2 31. He never alters no matter what the opposition is.
He will never substitute any player until sixty minutes or above no matter what. He relies to much on Giggs and that is why he keeps playing him.
To me he is tactical inept to be manager of such a great club.
He has had ten years in the Premier league and has not learnt anything and if the Glazers had any sense they should put Moyes out of his misery and show him the door now.

In fact, i expect moyes to be sack after the defeet to olympiakos but unfortunatly it was’t, but the perfect man for man utd jub is Jurgen Klopp, he should be the perfect replacement of sir Alex Ferguson instead of this amature manager as Webb stated

Is Moyes really the one to blame? … it could be down to any of the reasons proposed in this article … http://www.pulpinterest.com/sport/football/manchester-united-nightmare-blame/ … i am of the opinion that Moyes is struggling to find his feet but it is a combination of the players struggling under a new regime, new backroom staff and Moyes coming to grips with what is expected of him as manager of Manchester United.

David moyes is not fit to manage man united,as usual he is always taking the 6th and 7th position in the EPL when he was managing everton so is the same tradition we are suffering to .Moyes wants to kill us too much stress please change him

    Feb 27, 2014 at 9:49 pm

When l hear moyes name as replacement for fergie ,i said this is crazy.this is a man who can not make any difference for 11yrs he spent at Everton.even capital1 cup, what seem like an up hill task for him in is 11yrs,was accomplish by 11 million pound Wigan last season.a big club like man u go for an ordinary coach like moyes is the new thing in this century.it call for questioning on the rein of the Glazer at united.because Abrahmovic would not have agree to such thing at chelsea, ferguson suffer a lot with them, may be reason why he choose moyes was to make them suffer too.why did Glazer now release 64 million to buy players with in short time since fergie was no longer in charge,if they have been spending this amount in the last three season, may be fergie would have rebuild that midfield with quality player before he left.

My first blame should go to Sir Alex Ferguson, as i earlier said that gone are the days of nepotism. Why did he behaved as if he is not a professional? He knew he would retire some years ago, then why couldn’t he pave the way for others to successfully apply for the job and then allow the board to choose the best Manager to suit Man United rather than manipulating in every office to bring in this villain all in the name of “Home Boy”
Secondly am very disappointed with the way the board management of Man United offered the contract to Moyes. How sure were they to offer Moyes this long and boring contract in terms of sound results? If SAF did a good job in tho days it is not like that today. Things have greatly changed . Finally my advice to the board is that they should transfer Moyes to man academy teams together with those already there and employ a care taker for the time being until a better replacement is found. If Moyes feels demoted then he will resign on his own. Then issue of compensation and other related issues will be solved based on the resignation letter period.
