Odds tumble on Arsenal signing sensation as speculation grows

Wenger must move

Apart from the last minute Ozil signing last season Arsenal fans have had scarce little to cheer about in terms of transfers over the last five years.

It’s been more a case of holding onto the top stars rather than buying sizzlers.

Some would argue that as it hasn’t even worked out that well for Ozil and perhaps Cesc could’ve returned to the club had the German not already been in the squad?

So the Arsenal fans really deserve something to shout about. They’ve paid for their very expensive tickets for years and need another marquee signing.

There has been a swell of hype and rumour about Mario Balotelli to Arsenal over the last few days.

And it seems as if there may be some substance to the tale as bookmakers Skybet have cut the odds on the player joining Arsenal from 3/1 to evens (1/1) over the last couple of days.

I think I speak for most Arsenal fans when I say that this would be a very exciting signing – the sort of A-lister that the team requires.

He’s a bit of a loose cannon but that’s all part of the excitement of having such a player – like Cantona at Manchester United you don’t quite know what he is going to do next. But you get a sensational mixture of the sublime and the ridiculous.

Balotelli would add power and pace to the Arsenal frontline and give them that ruthless edge and that nastiness they need to get across the line in the title race.

If it’s possible for Arsenal to get the Italian in this summer Arsene Wenger has to move decisively and stop umming and argghing. Chelsea’s business this summer should be a reference to any team who has serious designs on winning the title – get your business done early and decisively instead of waiting for scraps come late august.

Let’s see some Balotelli madness. Arsenal fans: would this be a priority signing for you? Is Balotelli worth the aggro?

Like I have always insisted, Arsene Wenger is an odd piece of SHIT. And with a fluked FA Cup to hide behind, and a 3-year contract in his pocket, Wenger and his co-piece-of-shit (Ivan Gazidis) will not do any sensible transfer business. They couldn’t resign Fabregas….Sagna if off to City (a fourth Arsenal player heading to the Eitihad)…then there was Van Persie…. What a duo of IDIOTS!

No! You absolutely do not speak for Arsenal fans when you say we would welcome this signing! Or at least not the ones with half an ounce of intelligence!

Shall we ask Inter, Man City or AC Milan fans how much value he was?

Let’s get a quality striker who actually realises the club is bigger and more important than ANY individual.

Oh look, more people thinking Balotelli is a loose cannon.

His egotistical behaviour is OFF the pitch. The bad publicity he garners is for activity OFF the pitch. During a game he is professional and very serious. He is a young player with bags of talent who will benefit greatly from the service he can expect from Ozil, Walcott, Ramsey, et al.

He is a goalscorer, he has Premiership experience and there is not one genuine reason for being against this move.

Suarez this past season was the golden boot winner and that’s with missing a quarter of the games with a suspension for assaulting another player the season before.

The same haters here would be against a move for Suarex last Summer.

The media badgers Balotelli, it provokes him.

Ian Wright was a bigger liability on the pitch, he was eternally looking for a booking by verbally abusing referees and other players, but people think he was great. Vieira had a worse discipline record than Balotelli on the pitch too.

Balotelli AND another striker are needed by my Arsenal and I hope we buy them.

Balotelli is perfect. He shoots from anywhere… our players cant even shoot from in front of the goal. He is just what we need. Lets ave it!
