Manchester United’s best 11 with Falcao

Where to play Angel?

Wow. Manchester United fans have watched Liverpool, City and Chelsea make strides forward again this summer and, after a really poor start to the season, it looked like the gap between United and the rest had increased.

That was before United signed Radamel Falcao in a stunning deadline day deal. And, unless RvP is about to go under the knife you would imagine that LvG will want to squeeze all of his main men – Falcao, RvP, Rooney and Di Maria – into his starting team.

This will either mean a change of formation from the new 3-4-1-2 or a move back into the number ten position for Wayne Rooney, meaning a possible demotion for Juan Mata, who has been average since he moved to Manchester United. But it’s a great problem to have. United arguably now have 6 fully fledged world class talents in their squad – Rooney, RvP, Falcao, Di Maria, De Gea and Mata. If players like Shaw, Rojo, Blind and Herrera reach their potential, the future is starting to look very bright once more.

With Welbeck, Hernandez, Kagawa, Anderson out of Manchester United’s plans this is how we would line United up this season, if LvG wants to stick with his 3-4-1-2. And what a side this is now. We have put Di Maria in as right wingback as we think that he ultimately needs to get his boots white and offer United the width that they have been lacking. We fully expect Luke Shaw to become an important mamaber of the first team so Di Maria may be deployed on the right. Daley Blind gets in ahead of the 33 year old Carrick in the holding role until Kevin Strootman arrives.

Manchester United (3-4-1-2) De Gea, Rojo, Smalling, Jones – Shaw, Herrera, Blind, Di Maria – Rooney – Falcao, RvP

Lvg have not dropped Valencia to be surbed by Mata and Herera to stick sometimes in midfield and surb RVP to bring januzaj that’s when Midfield is strong.
