Manchester United want prolific young striker in sensational swap – report

Nani: Frighteningly good but not very often

United in for late deal?

Manchester United fans are pretty much sick of Nani. They have had so much patience with the lad but it hasn’t paid dividends. Many at Manchester United thought that it would simply be a matter of time before the Portuguese international developed in the same way as Cristiano Ronaldo – who also took a couple of years to iron out the inconsistencies in his game.

Nani certainly had the feet to be a star. But, as the years went by, it became plain that he perhaps didn’t have the same sort of football instinct and football brain as Ronaldo.

He could well have a good career ahead of him but it seems like the right time for Manchester United and Nani to part company. We believe that when a suitable buyer is found Nani will be on his way. That could easily still be in January.

The player has long been linked with a move to Juventus and A Bola today suggests that a swap deal could be on. A Bola says (via Google Translate):

Juventus still believes in hiring Nani, although the Portuguese international meeting currently recovering from injury and have recently renewed contract with Manchester United.

Writes the Italian newspaper Tuttosport Nani comes on top of the list of concerns of the general director of Juventus, Beppe Marotta, who will in forging a proposal exchange with Manchester United.

Juventus holds the rights to striker Domenico Berardi, who has been featured in Sassuolo this season and caught the attention of red devils, and therefore could be used as a bargaining chip by the Portuguese international.

Berardi is a 19 year old Italian striker who has been on fire in his two stints on loan from Juventus to Sassuolo, a lowly Serie A side. He’s scored 12 goals in 16 appearances for the club since he rejoined last year.

In 2014 he bagged all four gaols in a win against Milan. In so doing he became the youngest ever single score of four in a game in Serie A history.

He looks like a real gem of a youngster and Manchester United could well be interested in some kind of swap deal if it were to be mooted.

Let’s have a look at the young maestro in action. Manchester United fans would you be happy to get rid of Nani and would you like to see this prolific striker join the club?
