A dream signing in the making for United

Although it still seems like a long shot, it might just be getting closer to reality. Although clubs in direct and weekly competition are usually loathe to sell their stars to each other, sometimes the necessity arises, for the greater good of all parties.

For some reason Jose Mourinho doesn’t appear to be a huge fan of Juan Mata. Or perhaps he just doesn’t fit into the Chelsea template for success under The Special One. Few would argue that Chelsea have an embarrassment of riches in midfield and a dearth of top a strikers.

You might imagine, however, that Manchester United would struggle to prise the player away from Chelsea. But, with the league title all but gone for Manchester United, a club like PSG might actually be seen as a bigger threat to Mourinho and The Blues.

PSG surely pose a bigger threat to Chelsea than Manchester United in this season’s Champion’s League. It would be harsh to say United are in disarray but few would be confident of them taking silverware in a transitional season.

PSG are still favourites with SkyBet to sign Mata in January at odds of 4/1. But, now just a hair’s breadth behind them at 9/2, come Manchester United.

United’s need for a creative midfielder is painfully obvious. If they buy noone else in the window it has to be a creator for the middle of the park. If Mata is available, he surely has to be the best bet for David Moyes’ ailing Manchester United side.

United fans, would this be the perfect solution or is it an impossible dream?

I think the solution is not Mata. We need a creative defensive midfielder and a winger.and Also replacement for those aging defenders.

I don’t think United are going to make any signing this winter,as the Moyes and the CEO are not competitive.

I think ole gunna is the only manager should take vacancy at man utd fc team, bcoz he is a successive man for any place i.e. Player and then manager, moyez is a good competitor for top ten only and not for title! Manu 4ever.

According to Paddy Crerand who was present at a local football chat recently. D Moyes will resist making big sinings in Jan as he is sure the Glasiers will not do anyhing about results till at least next season and by then he will have had a full season to evaluate everyone. It also suits the Glasiers not having to spend any money right now.

David Moyes had proudly succeeded in bringing average fell-all-in from Everton. He now needs Leigh-ton and look-show to transform MU to a mediocre team. This man called moy-es is not fit to manage a team so used to winning trophies. He is at best able to manage MU under 14 team.
