Manchester United to offer perfect solution to get €44m deal done – report

This is a deal that makes an awful lot of sense to us and also should do to lots of Manchester United fans.

United are of course desperate to sign a central midfielder with real authority this summer and there don’t seem to be too many better available ones out there than Arturo Vidal of Juventus.

Juventus have said that they won’t sell the player but we believe that a deal can be down, if a mutually agreeable price can be met.

The player himself commented on the rumours linking him with Manchester United this week and clearly seems open to a move to the club.

But, as usual, Manchester United seem to be getting a bit pedantic over the transfer fee and could well lose out on the player because of a few million quid.

The Star reported that 44m Euros is the magic number:

Juventus want at least £35m (44m Euros) for Vidal, while United value him closer to £25m.

But the solution is staring everyone in the face reports The Express. They say:

Manchester United set to offer Juventus Nani to sweeten Arturo Vidal deal

Manchester United’s Luis Nani has been on the periphery of things for the last few years and has been linked to a move to Italy time and again.

He’s been at Manchester United for seven years and is shining less and less brightly as the years go by.

He is obviously a very talented player but clearly needs a change of scenery in an attempt to bring more consistency to his game. Manchester United should cut their losses on him and, in so doing, get Vidal for a much cheaper price.

It wouldn’t be unreasonable to suggest an asking price for Nani of around £10m – which would mean Manchester United getting Vidal for about £25 million plus the Portuguese.

At 27 Vidal won’t have any sell on value from Old Trafford and that could be the stumbling block with Manchester United in terms of the transfer fee.

But the success that he can bring them over the next five years means that his fee should be more than compensated for by success and trophies. Getting rid of Nani and bringing in Vidal in the same deal would be perfect business for Manchester United.

Manchester United fans: would you be sad to lose Nani?

Brilliant! What’s more, nobody else in the whole wide world has your brains so it hasn’t been thought of before.
By the way, ignore the polite insult if you are just plagiarising the Daily Express.

    *scuffs*Am tired of this

  3. Pre Munich Red says:

There are not many players that fit United’s needs as perfectly as Vidal. I honestly think he could make the difference between challenging for fourth place and for the title . Just go and get him. Throw in Nani and Evra if needs be but let’s not play our usual poker game because others are much better at it.

  4. jimbo says:

If truly you need this guy why cant you pay the money and get him once and for all rather wasting time negotiating and the media and some internet site are busy given us false information about the transfers.

  13. Imran says:

I would carry Nani to manchester airport on my shoulders if it brings Vidal to Man Utd. No i would not miss Nani, in fact he has been a pain in the backside for the past few years now – fall outs with sir Alex, sulking over pay rise and really poor performances. I think United should also ship Kagawa back to Dortmand if it brings Hummels and Reus to Old Trafford. Yes Kagawa has been used out of position but whenever he did get the chance to play in his favourite role, he was a disappointment to watch. The Dortmand coach Klopp would welcome him back as will the the fans, and we would love the talented Marco Reus!

    • 4TheLoveOfTheGame says:

      name one poor performance

      • Imran says:

Shinji Kagawa is first to admit about his poor performances for Man United and that his move from Dortmand has not quite worked out unitll now. I personally have no problem or hatred towards any individual United player, be it Cleverley, Fellaini, Bebe, Anderson, Nani, Young or Kagawa. I just want what’s best for the team and hope we sort those ‘problem’ positions out where the team and fans suffered last season. One those positions are held by Kagawa and Nani/Young. I just feel United could do with a better player who would perform more consistently than Kagawa, Nani and Young. I believe that player is Marco Reus – and what’s your problem with that? Reus is pure class and our team would benefit big time with his pace. Their’s no doubt, Kagawa has been poor and below average for United, and i also believe the same about Fellaini, Cleverley, Nani and Young who also need replacing. I am not singling any individual out for criticism but it’s a fact Kagawa has been poor and we can not afford him continuing his poor showings this upcoming season. Apart from the one or two good games he’s had, (once in a blue moon) i can only remember his poor showings in the EPL and CL!

      • Imran says:

I don’t have a list off oppositions, but at times, Kagawa for me was very frustrating to watch he can’t finish ‘one on one’ and also lacked that accurate pass on countless occasions when the team were in a good goal scoring position. The same could be said about Nani and his selfish attitude!

  14. Amo says:

Pls go and get him if united need there is no time for all this rumor that we are airing
