Manchester United installed as clear favourites for playmaker transfer

Vidal - what an athlete

Manchester United’s midfield saviour?

It’s going to be a hectic month of speculation for Manchester United as David Moyes attempts to breathe new life into his failing team. Manchester United are still in every competition but need to dramatically improve if they are going to win anything this season.

The fact that Tom Cleverley is a Manchester United regular tells you everything you need to know about the current state of the midfield. The Tottenham defeat was yet another match in which you had to remind yourself that the England international was actually on the pitch.

Manchester United’s midfield simply isn’t good enough and David Moyes surely has to sign at least one player to plug that hole in January.

Literally scores of players have been mentioned in relation to Manchester United. One of the most recent is Juventus middle man Arturo Vidal. The 26 year old Chilean has been linked by many sections of the press today as a potential option for Manchester United in January. With 52 caps for his country (8 goals) and 24 goals in 81 appearances since joining Juventus in 2011, the lad is flying.

Accordingly Bookmaker SkyBet have installed Manchester Untied as favourites to sign Vidal in the January window. At odds of 5/2 Manchester United are well ahead of the rest, in SkyBet’s reckoning, to sign the player.

Let’s see the lad in action and, Manchester United fans, do you think that Vidal has the quality to make a big impact at Old Trafford?

If Moyes were to sign any good players, he would would have already made up his mind on who he thinks can help Man Utd. At the moment I think he still don’t know who is right signing for him. One of Dortmunds midfielders would do Man Utd good, as he would gel very well with Kagawa.

Moyes should stop using winger too often as they are always one dimensional and often predictable. Man Utd are quite readable these days. Thats why we lose the matches that we lost.
