Magic man

This one looks as if it’s going to be hot news until it is resolved one way or another.

Manchester United clearly have cash to spend and are desperate for a box to box midfielder who can add personality, mobility and power to a rather dormant midfield.

Juventus may need to generate money in order to fund moves for other players and it seems as if one of their star midfielders, Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal, could be sacrificed this summer.

The Express reports today that Manchester United are still in negotiations for the player:

MANCHESTER UNITED are continuing to negotiate with Juventus over a move for Arturo Vidal.

And The Metro reckons that talks are ongoing with Manchester United:

The held talks with United officials on the phone on Monday evening and Gazzetta dello Sport say the negotiations are ‘well underway’ and will continue today.

The Daily Star says that United have opened talks for a deal which would smash their transfer record:

Manchester United open talks to sign £50m (62.9m Euros) Juventus star Arturo Vidal

Without any official word from Juventus or Manchester United about a potential transfer we are still operating largely on speculation.

But everyone in the media seems to have got in on the story, including the broadsheets, so there’s a fairly good chance that Manchester United are indeed negotiating for the player.

soccersweep believes that if Manchester United sign no one else this summer then they have to go for the man known as The Warrior in Italy – because he can completely transform this side.

Let’s take another look at the lad in action. Manchester United fans: dream signing?
