Manchester United: Great transfer fillip as agent says that high profile forward looks set to move on from United this summer?

Nani: Frighteningly good but not very often

Offski! At last

Now I know that all Manchester United fans love attacking football. They have been particularly spoiled over the years with the wonderful array of wingers that have turned out for the club – Kanchelskis, Sharpe, Giggs, Ronaldo et al.

But not all have done the business for the club and the latest news suggests that one such under performer will be on his bike in what, we think, amounts to superb news for Manchester United. ESPN reports:

But Andrea Pastorello, who represents Nani in Italy, told Viola News: “Nani is a very important player and at this time the only thing I can say is that he is likely to leave Manchester.”

So finally Nani is Offski!

Before you write in to expound the virtues of the player, we know that a lot of you Manchester United fans like him. There is very little not to like when he ghosts past three players before unleashing an unstoppable 30 harder and then offering up a sensational backflip which would have most gymnasts dribbling. But the reality is that Nani is nothing more than a really good 30 second YouTube clip.

He simply hasn’t done the business on a regular basis for Manchester United. And when he is bad he is oh so very bad. This season he has been absolute pony and Manchester United simply need to clear the decks of such dead weight if they are going to challenge again.

Nani isn’t exactly cheap either – according to Wikipedia he’s on over 4.5m squid per year. And that’s why he may struggle to find another club to his liking. His Italian agent admitted:

“The problem for Fiorentina and other Italian clubs is the player’s salary. But we will evaluate all bids,” he added.

We know that Nani has had some great moments for Manchester United. But they all came towards the beginning of his Manchester United career and have been fewer and farther between in the last few years. So good luck to Nani but a move is well overdue.

Moyes will be making a problem if he let Nani go because he is such an important player to man united but the problem Moyes is not giving him enough time to prove his qualities in the pitch seriously Moyes is favouring England players alot how comes he brings Young instead of Nani who has better techniques than Young who is just playing nothing in the pitch but only making blunders and playing blind passes.
