Manchester United: Transfer close? Powerhouse omitted from squad for next match according to reports

Portent?

Manchester United fans have become used to biting their fingernails towards the end of the transfer window over the last few years.

Because, if you take Robin van Persie out of the equation, you have to go back to 2009 and Dimitar Berbatov for the last really stellar signing. The fact that this deal didn’t really work out makes for even worse reading.

What is for sure is that Manchester United need to have a couple of really decent windows if they going to be the best team in Europe again

But, for now, we have only scraps to feed on again. The latest pertains to Fiorentina wide man Juan Cuadrado who has apparently been left out of the squad for the friendly match versus Real Madrid this weekend.

Talksport says:

Fiorentina have left Manchester United target Juan Cuadrado out of their friendly against Real Madrid on Friday – adding to speculation he could be set to leave Italy.

We believe that this means he’s likely to leave. But where to?

Manchester United: Louis van Gaal could sure use this guy and he will immediately improve the first 11 with his marauding quality down the right hand side But the feeling is that other targets remain bigger priorities. But if there is a chance to sign him then United surely have to snap him up.

Barcelona: we get the sense that Barcelona is the player’s preferred destination. As for Barcelona themselves they might not have the cash to currently make the deal happen unless they sell another star.

Chelsea: Dark horses and very good in the transfer market, Chelsea may well show an interest in this lad. But they have already exceeded their quota of foreign players so they would have to offload before I deal could happen. And while we think that he would improve Chelsea we aren’t sure that the club would see this as a priority transfer right now.

So the deal is there for Manchester United but will they do it? Manchester United fans: keen on the player?

Am really disgusted with Man United transfers, why should abig club like United take long to decide on which players to buy, the fanbase has been denied of their trust in Ed wood who is so sluggish and allowing other clubs to take them. We kindly request to have Vidal, Cuadrado, Banatia,Blind and Di Maria

i wonder why a club like man Utd is still struggling to buy players. i don’t think we’re ready for business. these players available cannot play the EPL, the FA cup as well as the capital one cup
