Liverpool on the verge of sealing more major deals and yet another star approached – reports

In what could prove to be another excellent week for Liverpool in the transfer market reports today suggest that they are on the brink of making two more additions to the squad.

The Guardian says that Loic Remy is on the cusp of a move to Liverpool and will fly out to America for his medical.

Liverpool have shown serious interest in Remy where other clubs have stalled on seeing a deal through.

But we believe that he will be a brilliant addition to the squad with his pace and overall menace.

As for Dejan Lovren of Southampton, he has made his feelings about a move to Liverpool very clear over the last couple of weeks. Whatever you think about his behaviour he’s clearly passionate about a move to Liverpool and that can only bode well for the Anfield club.

The Guardian reports on Monday

• Lovren to be third Saints player to join Liverpool this summer

• Rémy is due to fly to Boston to undergo a medical

In other transfer news there has been in the speculation over the last few days that Liverpool will make could make a move for the young striker Zakaria Bakkali of PSV.

The Metro opines:

Liverpool have approached PSV Eindoven over a deal for winger Zakaria Bakkali, according to reports in Holland.

The 18-year-old has refused to sign a new contract with the Eredivisie club, who are keen to offload him this summer.

Bakkali has reportedly been on the radar of several different clubs but Liverpool may again prove to be the more decisive club in terms of acquiring his signature.

Some Liverpool fans have questioned the transfer record of Brendan Rodgers but we like the way that he seems to know exactly what he wants. He looks as if he’s building a massive squad for the challenges ahead at home and in Europe.

Let’s see Bakkali in action. Liverpool fans: another good potential buy?
