Inter favourites to sign potential world-beater

Inter Milan will look at this as a crucial transfer window.

Having fallen off the pace in Serie A they will want to focus on improving their goal threat before the new campaign.

One player who has been linked to a move to Italy over the last year is Portugal and winger Nani.

Having started his career at United well in 2007 he hasn’t matured in the way that many of the fans would have liked and he can be as frustrating as he is brilliant.

Over the last year, in particular, his form has really dropped off and he just doesn’t look as if he’s enjoying his football in England.

It seems that a move for the player would suit both club and Nani right now.

The most frustrating thing about the winger is that he can be so good. He’s got great pace, really magical feet and can score a goal from 35 yards. He just doesn’t seem to be able to control his genius.

At the age of 27 now seems to be the perfect time for him to start afresh.

English bookmakers Skybet have Inter as favourites to sign the player should he leave England this summer, at odds of 4/1.

We think that, with the right coaching, Nani could be a really dangerous weapon for Inter next season. The talent is there so it’s all about finding consistency in his game.

We don’t think that he would cost the earth – perhaps up to £10 million – and this isn’t a lot for someone who can be a genuine game-changer for Inter.

Let’s have a look at him in action. Inter Milan fans: would you be keen on Nani?
