Hull odds on favourites to sign Electric forward this summer

This has to be one of the most bizarre and protracted transfer movies of all time.

Tom Ince was on loan at Crystal Palace for the second half of last season and did a decent job – scoring once in 8 appearances for the club.

But over the last year he’s been touted around Europe in a seemingly strange manner by his father Paul.

A couple of weeks ago there was talk of him following in his father’s footsteps at Inter Milan and before that a host of other clubs were supposedly close to a deal for the English youngster.

Ince is a player who promised so much as a youth but perhaps isn’t currently seen as having the potential to go to the very top.

Nevertheless he has many of the qualities required to be a good Premier League winger – he’s got loads of pace, a bit of trickery and a decent final ball. At 22 he has years to develop his game and someone will eventually be getting a good deal for the free agent.

It’s impossible to know where he will end up but bookmaker SkyBet reckons that Hull could be his final destination. Hull obviously have the Ince/Manchester United connection with Steve Bruce at the helm and we could easily imagine them signing the player this summer.

SkyBet now have Hull as odds-on favourites to sign Ince this summer at odds of 4/6.

Let’s have a look at some of his highlights. Hull fans: keen?

With Snodgrass N Elmohamady we do not really need him. Ince seems a bit molly coddled and reminds me of another player we love to hate frazier campbell
