It will be music to the ears of the swathes of Chelsea fans who thought that the club got rid way too early. Didier Drogba is trying to negotiate a loan move back to his beloved Chelsea.
In what would amount to an exception to the rules, Drogba is seeking permission to return to Chelsea before the winter window, in order to prepare physically for his part in the African Cup of Nations in January.
As the Chinese league is reaching season end Drogba will have to make his own arrangements in order to keep fit and he is hoping that he can actually play competitively for Chelsea in that time.
The thought of Drogba feeding off the supply lines of Mata, Hazard and Oscar is one to savour and Chelsea are though to be in negotiations in order to pull off this amazing short term transfer.
