Maestro signed?

Chelsea are flying high now and you just feel that The Special One has waved his wand in every area of the club.

Not only has he once again showed his mastery of tactics for Chelsea this season – substitute Demba Ba’s last-gasp goal against PSG is just the latest chapter – but Jose has brought a unity back to the club which has arguably been missing at times over the last six years.

Of course he’s always been a good buyer in the transfer market as well – Matic and Salah both look excellent Mourinho additions.

And Chelsea look as if they are about to benefit from yet another smart move from Mourinho. The Daily Mirror has reported that a deal could be done for a youngster:

The agent of Croatian youngster Mario Pasalic has confirmed that the Hajduk Split starlet will undergo a medical in May ahead of signing a permanent deal with Chelsea.

Just 19, the Croatian under-21 international, who was born in Germany, has signed a pre-contract agreement to join the Blues on a permanent deal this summer.

During his breakthrough season at Hadjuk Split the Croatian scored 11 goals in 25 games.

But this form possibly wouldn’t be enough to get him into the Chelsea first team. The suggestion is that he is one of the many Chelsea youngsters who will immediately go back out on loan for more experience.

Let’s take a look at the Lad in action. Chelsea fans – one for the present or the future?
